As many of you already know, schools in Alameda County, including San Lorenzo Unified, will now be closed through May 1st.
San Lorenzo Unified and Grant Elementary are moving in the direction of providing more distance learning opportunities as this closure rolls along. To ensure that our students have some sort of access to an electronic device, we are lending out Chromebooks to families who need a device. We are also providing information about free or reduced cost internet access.
Grant will be distributing Chromebooks to families on Tuesday, March 31st from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
- We will be practicing social distancing at all times.
- We will be outside.
- There will be two or three lines.
- Please stay 6 feet apart.
- Please be patient
If you don't have a device at home for your student to use for distance learning, this is the time to come to Grant school and pick-up a device. Please join us sometime between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
