The San Lorenzo Unified School District will launch a new program called Family University from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Board Room at the District Office, 15510 Usher St. in San Lorenzo.

The topic will be "Family Leadership and Advocacy," with a focus on how to navigate school and district policies and organization and become actively involved in your child's school.

Dinner will be served, and children are welcome.
